Trenval Business Development Corporation (Trenval) is a not-for-profit Community Futures organization that stimulates economic development, diversity and employment opportunities throughout our catchment area (City of Belleville, City of Quinte West, Town of Deseronto, Municipality of Stirling-Rawdon, Tyendinaga Township and First Nations Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte) by providing an array of community and business development, counselling and lending services. Trenval operates under a contribution agreement with the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario) to provide Community Futures programming to these communities. We are led by our dynamic volunteer Board of Directors who direct the vision for the organization.
Continuing to build on its successes, Trenval remains open to interest from potential candidates on an ongoing basis. Generally, Trenval has a 12 member Board of Directors.
The Board of Directors generally meets monthly, on the last Wednesday of the month, from 8:45 a.m. to 11 a.m. There may also be additional meetings for committee work.
