The Docs By The Bay Physician Recruitment and Retention program is pleased to be the recipient of a Community Economic Development Grant of $4000 from Trenval. This grant was provided to assist the program with website redevelopment.
“The need to redesign our existing website is a result of the relaunch of our new brand “Docs By The Bay” which incorporates our new partnership with the Municipality of Brighton. Our current website was originally designed when our program was established in the fall of 2017 and needs to be updated to become more interactive and user- friendly, allowing us to expand our geographical reach,” said Paula Mason, Physician Recruitment and Retention Coordinator.
Trenval is funded by the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario and is governed by a local volunteer board of directors. Trenval has been assisting start-up and expanding businesses with information and counselling, community strategic planning, community economic development and business financing in Quinte Region since 1987, with a focus on job impact. More information is available at www.trenval.on.ca.
“We are very appreciative of Trenval’s commitment to the Physician Recruitment and Retention program for Quinte West and Brighton. We would also like to thank Chandy Davis, a director on the Trenval board, and former member of the Physician Recruitment Committee, for bringing this opportunity to our attention,” said Mason. “As a not-for-profit organization, we recognize that the support of our community partners is a vital part of our success.”
Docs By The Bay is a partnership between the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation, the City of Quinte West, and the Municipality of Brighton.
